HD Truck and Trailer Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician – Bemidji, MN ($20–$35/hr + Benefits) $1000 Sign On Bonus

Location: Bemidji, MN
Pay: $20–$35/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM + rotating Saturdays (NO Sundays)

Northwest Tire’s Truck & Farm Shop in Bemidji is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician.

If you have experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, farm equipment, or heavy-duty vehicles, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team with competitive pay, steady hours, and advancement opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair HD trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Complete repairs on:
    • Brakes
    • Suspension
    • Steering systems
    • Alignments
    • General mechanical systems
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Communicate clearly with team members and customers

Qualifications

  • Experience as a diesel mechanic, truck technician, or heavy equipment mechanic preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to learn and grow
